April Sporting Events
As the students count down the semester’s final days, spring athletes will reach the final stretch of their season. That said, there is plenty of home games for the Tornado teams in April. For baseball, home games will be played on the 4th, 7th, 8th, 19th, and 23rd. Softball will host multiple teams on the 5th, 18th, 21st, and 22nd. The men’s and women’s tennis teams will hold matches in Bristol on the 4th, 7th, and 8th. Lastly, the men’s volleyball team will hit the home stretch of their season with home games on the 4th and 13th. The men’s volleyball team will also participate in the Conference Carolinas tournament on the 21st and 22nd. As for baseball and softball, both teams’ regular seasons will conclude at the end of April, with the Conference Carolinas tournament starting in early May.
April SLACK Events
The final month of the 2022-2023 school year will conclude with numerous SLACK events to end the year with a bang. On April 2nd and 5th, King will hold The Great Easter Egg Hunt to get students in the Easter spirit. A karaoke/comedy & food night on April 10 will be great fun for all. Pickleball fans and competitors rejoice as pickleball games will be held on the 13th and 20th. On the 16th, there will be a hiking trip. During exams, there will be exam breaks held on the 23rd and 27th. Lastly, FCA will be held on the 5th, 12th, and 19th to cap off the year.
Graduation
Seniors will celebrate an incredible four years of being a Tornado on April 29 during the spring commencement ceremony. The ceremony can be watched online or in person. The start time is TBA.
In Other News
Classes will officially come to a close for traditional undergraduates on April 21. After that, final exams will begin for students on the 24th. Finally, residence halls will close for everyone on the 29th.
