Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion – The 22^nd annual Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion returns to Bristol for 2022! This year the event will be held from September 9^th through the 11^th. The festival, produced by the Birthplace of Country Music, includes over one hundred artists this year, including JJ Grey and Mofro, Tanya Tucker, Rosanne Cash, and so many more! SLACK is currently offering discounted tickets for King students. To get your student tickets, bring your $30 deposit to the SLACK office and claim your tickets before this weekend! Bass Pro Shops Night Race – On Saturday, September 17, 2022, from 7:30 PM to 11:00 PM, the Bass Pro Shops Night Race will bring magic to The Last Great Colosseum. This race is a part of the NASCAR Cup Series, which has been ongoing since February of this year. Along with the incredible racing action, 3 Doors Down will perform the pre-race concert, followed by Tim Dugger taking the Food City Fan Zone Stage on Friday night. Experience DC – Incoming Freshmen! The Experience DC trip is upon us! This year it will take place September 22 through September 24. During the weekend, faculty and staff will have multiple track options for students to participate in. Students will also get back $70 of their deposit to spend while on the trip. The buses will depart from King at 9:00 AM on the 22^nd bright and early! Morgan Wallen, Jason Aldean, Travis Tritt with Country Thunder 2022 at BMS – Morgan Wallen returns to Bristol Motor Speedway for Country Thunder 2022! At the event, held this year on Saturday, October 1^st, Wallen will headline, performing at 9:30 PM. Various artists will join Wallen, including Ian Munsick, Tracy Lawrence, Lauren Alaina, and Hardy.
