Opening The Door Through Tours: The King President’s Society
If you think back to your first campus visit tour, the student leading it very well could have been a King President’s Society (KPS) member! KPS is a group of students nominated by faculty who focus on social relations with the community and helping within admissions. Their role is to embody King’s values and help to introduce those values and the community to prospective students looking to enroll here at King.
DMAD Students Team Up with the Advancement Office
Remember receiving a welcome packet after getting accepted to King University? Recently, students in the Multipage Design class, within the Digital Media Art & Design (DMAD) program, got the opportunity to work with the Advancement Office to design digital welcome packets for newly accepted students. This project is an important opportunity to work with an actual client and have their designs used, especially in school.
The Legends of Rotherwood Mansion
Rotherwood Mansion, located in Kingsport, TN, was built in 1818, and through its history has accumulated an interesting and supernatural history. The tales of the mansion are riddled with heartbreaking accounts of slavery, a legend of a hound from hell, and many lost souls wandering the grounds even in the afterlife.
