Republished: Faculty O.K.s New School Paper

After a meeting on Tuesday morning, October 17, the King College faculty announced its approval of a student publication. Thee meeting was called by Acting President Garrison. Dr. Henry made the motion that the members of the faculty give their support and encouragement to the paper in any manner possible. This motion was unanimously approved.

A committee, from the Staff, consisting of Bill Mansell, Red Harrison, [Glenn] Miller, and Tub Sullinger approached President Henry Monday afternoon on the subject of having a school paper. He expressed himself as being heartily in favor of such a project. Present Henry highly commended the first issue of the paper which was published Friday, October 13.

Several members of the faculty have voiced the opnion that the college paper is a good practical method of developing literary ability.
