Do you need to fulfill your cross-cultural experience? A few study abroad opportunities are coming within the next year that will help you meet these requirements while getting to experience various parts of the world.

Great Capital of Western Europe

Experience the Great Capital of Western Europe! Beginning May 23rd and ending June 5th, this 12-day trip will allow you to visit several European countries. A few notable countries include Scotland, England, and France. This trip, along with KING 3000 and a written reflection of your trip, will fill the Cross Culture requirement. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to explore Edinburgh Castle, Tour York Minster, The British Museum, marvel at Buckingham Palace, Oxford University, the Louvre, Versailles, and picnic at the Eiffel Tower. Optionally, you can take the Harry Potter Studio Tour in England or go to Disneyland in Paris. On the Harry Potter tour you can walk in the footsteps of Hogwarts students and explore the streets of Diagon Alley, see the Ministry of Magic, and learn about the magic behind the films.

The total trip cost will be $3,825, with the first payment of $500 to secure a spot due on Sept 30th. If you are interested or would like more information, please email one of the following leaders, Erin Kingsley at ekingsley@king.edu, Alaska Vance at crvance@king.edu, or Colette Wilcox at cmwilcox@king.edu.

Egypt

This trip will take place from the 1st of May until the 15th of 2023 and is led by Dr. Han Ong and Ms. Kerri-Lynn Paulson. During your two-week journey, you will have the chance to explore vast ancient ruins, climb into pyramids, ride camels, and see the Nile River. If you are interested, come to the information session today, September 15th, at 7 pm in White Hall 011 or email Dr. Han Ong at hanchuanong@king.edu.

If you cannot afford the cost of these trips, they can be lowered for some students; talk to the leaders to find out more!
