For as long as almost anyone can remember the chapel requirement has always been the same: Students must complete 10 hours, and any and all of those hours may be community service. New hours are in effect as of this semester, Fall 2016. Chapel hours increased from 10 to 12.

OAK Tests Graduating Students’ Knowledge and Skills
The Outcomes Assessment at King (known as the OAK) is the “comprehensive assessment” for general education for all students. It is a test of knowledge and skills gained from general education courses. It does not matter whether you did the Core Curriculum at King or took your basic general courses at another institution.
