Check Your Inbox; King Has a New System for Coronavirus Updates
King understands that staying informed means staying safe. Now, there is a more efficient system for informing students of the prevalence of Covid within our community. Every two weeks, an update will be conveniently sent to your student email with the current number of cases among both students and faculty, as well as developing vaccine information. Based on the latest update, there is only one case at our University at this time. Make sure to hit refresh this Thursday to get the next update.
Catch Up with the King Institute for Faith and Culture
In the absence of the routine, in-person convocation services, it can be challenging to keep up with all of the virtual lectures given by talented speakers such as Natasha Sistrunk Robinson, an international speaker, author, and leadership consultant, or Tim Larsen, a historian and the McManis Chair of Christian Thought at Wheaton College. Be sure to check online at the King Institute for Faith and Culture webpage to see the next event. Yesterday, there was an exciting panel titled “The Seven-Century Journey: A Celebration of Dante Alighieri,” with Poet Malcolm Guite, Professor Jennifer Holberg of Calvin University, Columnist Rod Dreher, and King’s own Dr. Martin Dotterweich in participation. The panel was held yesterday live on Facebook but it can be accessed on Facebook along with other presentations on Youtube. Be sure to tune in!
